How a high school dropout turned into an 8-figure entrepreneur with the main goal of revolutionizing marketing in the investment world. I like to say I went to the “school of hard knocks”. I was smart, but hated school and knew I had to make a life of my own, so I got my GED at 16 and talked my way into a full-time job as an Assistant Manager at JCPenney. This is where I began my journey in sales and relationship-building. At 18, I started my first company, Beyond Telecomm, where I ran cabling for office spaces while also working a blue-collar job laying bricks to keep myself financially stable. I actually enjoyed brick laying but i knew there was a cap to my income. So I found my way into sales first working for My PC Guy then The Global Consulting Group and Oxford Capital Advisors, working with retail brokers and small public companies. I became known for my sales leadership and business development skills, and landed at The Money Channel, supporting Steve Crowley's American Scene Radio program. While I was a top-performing salesman and team leader, I noticed some unethical practices such as sacrificing integrity in favor of profit, providing minimal value to clients, and using shady and manipulative tactics. I wanted to provide value in the investment marketing space and avoid being another “dirty shop” in the industry. So for a year, I taught myself everything I could about marketing and financial publishing. So I founded Full Service Media in 2011, which was rebranded to Promethean Marketing in 2017, with a commitment to transparency. Because of our emphasis on value before profit, over 90% of our business since 2011 has come through referrals. At Promethean, we specialize in direct response marketing, allowing us to tell your story to the right people in the right way at the right time. We help you cultivate a dependable base of retail investors that will scale along with your business growth.
